My Progress Report from HubPages

I am very happy to narrate my experience here with the HubPages for the last two months. I hope it will help the fellow hubbers, especially the newcomers, to build some confidence and improve their performance.

I joined this platform in March 2012 and as on today, it completes 2 months. So far I wrote 12 hubs covering various topics of interest. Of the published ones, only one was rejected. They (the HubPage authority) were not rude and instead told me why it was rejected. I was also requested to submit it after making necessary changes. I did so considering the advice given by and got it published back. You can read that one titled "My Romance with Radio".

My Position and Plans

My plan of writing at least one hub per week is going fine. I hope my annual target of writing 50 hubs will also work if things move in the present line. As per this plan, I should publish minimum four or five hubs every month. It is two months passed and I have done 12 numbers and that makes me so happy. By now I have got 3 accolades on the following grounds:

1. Has published at least 10 hubs;
2. My hubs have been read over 1000 times, and
3. Myself leaving insightful and engaging comments (for which I have been awarded "Level I Commenter")

Currently my author-score (shown on the profile page and below the author's photo) stands at 85, sure, on the increasing trend. It is fluctuating between 80 and 85. I have got 3 followers. Traffic rate also showing an upward tendency. My only disappointment is that I had no followers. But last week I got one and immediately came another two. I hope it will improve as time and my hubbing activity progress.

I have another happy news to share on. In my previous hub "My First Accolade from HubPages", I had written that my hub "How I Tamed English Language" had scored up to 88 and my aim was to score 90. I also wrote I would score it before my 1st anniversary at HubPages. Then, believe me, my joy was beyond expression when I found that I got the score of 90 for the hub the very next day.

On a close audit, it was noticed that all my hubs had no summary. I had no idea about it. So I wrote summary too. I attribute this as one of the reasons for the increase in traffic to my hubs. Further, a detailed study of the Weekly Report from HubPages shows a satisfactory progress report in my case. I advise all the hubbers to analyze and study their HubPages weekly report seriously so as to digest and improve their performance level.

I am yet to learn so much from this platform. The "Learning Center" is a good guide and am still studying and benefiting from it.

The writing flow, skill, confidence, knowledge, everything rolls smoothly after I joined the HubPages. The love, cooperation, and respect shown by the fellow hubbers are tremendous. It is highly helpful too to all writers, especially to the freshers. The community is so vibrant and helpful. It deals very gently with the newcomers like me. I am too proud to be a hubber. This is the right platform to grow and glow if you are a writer. So proceed confidently. Best of luck!
